The Villa Malaparte, also known as Casa Malaparte is a modernist villa located on Capri designed by Italian architect Adalberto Libera in the 1930ies. The red villa with its inverted pyramid stairs sits 32 meters over a cliff on the Gulf of Salerno and was prominently featured in Jean-Luc Godard's film "Le Mépris" (Contempt).
